My live tournament plans for March and April 2019

Hey everyone,

This week I’m heading to the WPT Barcelona. I’m super excited about this trip. This will be my first partypoker LIVE WPT experience and Barcelona has a reputation as a great stop!

There are lots of awesome events running. I’m going to play the WPT €500+50, WPT Deepstack €1350+50 and the WPT Ladies Event €200+20. I’ll be using PP Live Dollars to enter these tournaments – so handy! For more info on how PP Live Dollars work and the latest promotions click here. Here’s the schedule for anyone interested in booking a last minute poker trip.  I’m really looking forward to playing some live tournaments with good structures and exploring Barcelona in my free time.

Live Plans for March and April

I don’t usually play live poker a lot but for the rest of March and April my schedule involves four fun poker trips! After 10 nights in Barcelona, I’ll head home for a few days before heading to the UK. I’m going for a poker weekend with a lovely group of female players. The weekend was kindly organised by one the UK’s top female players- Katie Swift. Katie is so thoughtful inviting all of us to stay and planning some fun activities for us. Thank you Katie!

In April, I’ll be heading to Dusk Till Dawn to play some WSOP-C UK events and then immediately flying to Dublin for the Irish Open. Dusk Till Dawn is just a short flight from Dublin so I love going there to catch up with friends from the UK and play some tournaments with big guarantees! It’s great to have such a big poker room that’s so handy to reach for us Irish players.

The Irish Open

The Irish Open is the event I’m looking forward to the most. Once I get back from Barcelona, I’ll be grinding PP Live Dollar satellites and Irish Open satellites to try win my buy-in’s for Dublin. Last year was crazy! I was on a serious heater online, cashed my first Irish Open (I won’t tell you my bad beat story) and came runner-up to Rachel Heneghan in the partypoker Ladies event. The lack of sleep was ridiculous but I had too much fun to care. I didn’t leave Citywest even once for 10 days which was an interesting experience!

Normally, I try to still play online when i go to live-stops. However, I will take a break from online while I’m in Spain which will help make sure that I’m not sleep-deprived. I want to enjoy some sights outside of the poker room for a change!

I’ll try to take lots of photos while I’m there so that I can do a trip report blog post.

Thanks for reading everyone and good luck at the tables!
