Being a four-time world champion boxer, I am used to knocking people out! I fought 35 times during my career, won 33 of those fights, knocking out 24 opponents. I’m trying a different type of knockout at the moment with the $15 million guaranteed KO Series happening on partypoker.

As all of the KO Series events are progressive knockout (PKO) tournaments, I thought it would be a good idea to start my Team pro blog off with three of my favourite knockouts from my boxing career.

My favourite knockout was in 2014 when I knocked out George Groves at Wembley in front of 80,000 fans. Groves was an obnoxious, young boy who desperately needed teaching a lesson by his daddy, aka The Cobra!

BBC boxing commentator Mike Costello said that the punch that knocked Groves out was “the best punch you will ever see in a British boxing ring.”

Number two in my favourite knockouts was against Jermain Taylor in the United States. It was the first defence of my WBC World Title and I was behind on all the score cards, so needed the KO to win. Guess what? Being the ruthless, determined athlete that I was, I managed to finish him off with only 14 seconds to go in the last round.

Finally, I’d have to choose a fight from 2012 when I fought Lucian Bute for the IBF super-middleweight title. Bute boasted a 30-0 record, this was his 10th title defence and nobody gave me a chance.

I was in a fight against an unbeaten man that nobody thought I could win. I absolutely smashed him around the ring and knocked him out on his feet in the fifth round to become the IBF World Champion and three-times World Champion.

I’ll be trying to knock you out of many of the KO Series events from February 3rd to 17th. Do you think you have what it takes to take me on at the tables?
